Enkidu – Sumerian Bigfoot
Enkidu was completely covered in hair and was a wildman created by the gods/goddesses to teach and rival the tyrant Sumerian King Gilgamesh a lesson. He wrestled Gilgamesh and beat him and taught him what it meant to be human. The two went on adventures, but eventually Enkidu died of a disease before his time and this caused Gilgamesh to go on a journey for the quest of eternal life but was unsuccessful at finding it.
