The murderer of the female Gorgon warrior was Perseus. Hollywood garbage has portrayed her as a white woman with snakes in her hair. She was labelled as ugly and murdered by Perseus because Perseus was a loser and had to prove his worth and a King ordered him to kill the Gorgon hoping he would be killed. Instead he decapitated this black woman in her sleep and brought her head back and her image was put on the shield of Greek warriors and psychology was used against enemies stating she was so ugly, that men and women would turn to stone if they looked upon her image.
What a crock. This warrior woman was killed and decapitated in her sleep by the progenitor of the Semites (part of the Argive Dynasty and son of Zeus) who to this day use decapitation as a way to demoralize their enemies.
The subject matter of the work is the mythological story of Perseus beheading Medusa, a hideous woman-faced Gorgon whose hair was turned to snakes and anyone that looked at her was turned to stone. Perseus stands naked except for a sash and winged sandals, triumphant on top of the body of Medusa with her snakey head in his raised hand. The body of Medusa spews blood from her severed neck. The bronze sculpture and Medusa’s head turns men to stone and is appropriately surrounded by three huge marble statues of men: Hercules, David and later Neptune.[3] Cellini breathed new life into the piazza visitor through his new use of bronze in Perseus and the head of Medusa and the motifs he used to respond to the previous sculpture in the piazza.In the cave he came upon the sleeping Medusa. From her neck sprang Pegasus (“he who sprang”) and Chrysaor (“sword of gold”), the result of Poseidon and Medusa’s meeting. The other two Gorgons pursued Perseus,[14] but, wearing his helm of darkness, he escaped.From here he proceeded to visit Atlas king of Mauritania, who had refused him hospitality; in revenge Perseus turned him to stone.[15
Here is an actual replica of the head of Medusa from the Milwaukee Public Museum with an afro and showing her with a beard (to make her ugly). Remember the Gorgons would not cooperate with any of the Atlantians or Cronides.
She was ravished by white man Poseidon in the temple of white woman Athena and murdered by white man Perseus. It is not my intention to cause anger from this ancient story, but to tell the truth about this symbolism and how many practices of today have come about. It was by the efforts of Heracles (the Semite) that the last of the Amazons (white women warriors) were killed off (Diodorus Siculus tells the story of Myrina being convinced to use her Amazons against the Gorgons by the Atlantians which ended in both women warrior tribes being nearly exterminated after war).
